SUPRATHERME AWS: SFA 5.1 E7018 EN ISO CODE: 2560-A E 42 3 B 3 2 Supratherme is an 7018 electrode which is a heavy coated low hydrogen, iron powder type electrode ideally suited for producing tough and ductile welds of radiographic quality in boilers, pressure vessels and heavy structures subjected to dynamic loading. This 7018 electrode has a metal recovery of about 115%. Some typical applications include heavy structures subjected to dynamic loading and impact, highly restrained joints, coaches, wagons, penstocks, boilers, pressure vessels, earthmoving machines, etc.

The TIG-MAX® works with a brush through which electrical current is passed. With the brush, a cleaning liquid is absorbed and applied to the areas to be cleaned. The liquid is used to remove the iron oxide stains formed during welding. The brush converts the electrical current into high temperatures, especially at the bristle ends.
